I earned my Bachelor of Fine Art Degree in Photography from Utah Valley University. In my life I've discovered that acai bowls are the sweetest in Hawaii, the juiciest Mangoes come straight off the tree in Brasil, and almost nothing beats an avocado and Greek yogurt smoothie. When I'm not enjoying life's best treats, you'll find me exploring outside, boating, or camping with my husband. I dream that someday I'll explore the countryside in a hot air balloon. 

 

I believe that the people which we surround ourselves with are what make life worth living.  I am inspired by the relationships I have, the way I want to remember those ​relationships and the moments that define them.  Feelings captured in a single expression may pass by unnoticed or be forgotten.  I learn about life when I focus on the details we so often miss.  I am convinced that I learn something from each person that I encounter.  They show me something that leaves me a little different than I was before.  We are always changing, but photographs let us stop time in the very moment in which we will never be the same again. 

 

My photographs are about remembering people before they continue into experiences that keep them becoming something new.  I look at my photographs and remember people the way I saw them then and the way I don't want to forget.
